We finished an amazing 2017 Land Park Cup. Thank you for your awesome efforts. The teams had a great time because of YOU. We successfully hosted 42 teams and I am so proud to be a part of this event. A few extra special thank you:
Mark & Bobby – for fixing and prepping our fields Mike P – thanks for the multiple trips with equipment! Sam & Family, Diana & Anthony, Johanna,Chris, Rob – I appreciate your sacrifice in coming to help cover the field marshal areas and set up when we were short, Chris Elliott – You gave us some amazing referees...
We have created some incredible memories and competitive opportunities in our 9 years of doing this event, thank you all!

Land Park Soccer Club Coaches and Parents -
As many of you are aware, the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) has issued player development initiatives designed to improve youth soccer. The main goal of the USSF initiatives is to provide a consistent landscape for youth soccer across the United States. The two major components of the mandates are a move to birth year registration for all age groups, and small sided games for younger players (U6-U12). USSF hopes to shift the focus of youth soccer from team success to player development. These ideas have been used in Europe with much success.
While we realize there will be some road bumps, we do not feel it is anything that we cannot overcome as an organization if we stay united with the common goal of providing a high-quality learning environment for our players. LPSC is committed to long-term player development, honoring the game and having fun!
